Recognition of Character Spacing

Hello,

I would like to ask: Is there a way to improve the recognition of spaced characters in FineReader Server 14? See, for example, the attached image and the recognition of the last names in the image.

With Thanks and regards

Jáchym

    Hi Jáchym!

There seems to be no way to automate deleting the spaces.

In FRS, if the spaces were recognized on the image, they will persist in the exported file. The string " 1 " would have much more probability to be in the text than " l ", that's why "l" is misrecognized as "1" in your example.
