Hello,
I want to ask a question. Is it legal to download an old version to ABBY finerreader (because you are abituated to use it), even from another site?
Download Abby finereader 7

Hello Gioele,
If you have a valid license for it, it doesn't really matter from where you get the distributive set. As soon as you can activate the product with your license, you're good from the legal standpoint. Please note, however, that if you download FineReader from a random site in the internet, ABBYY cannot bear any responsibility for its proper functioning, authenticity, integrity, and being free from unauthorized modifications, including harmful ones. You do that solely at your own risk.
Also, FineReader 7.0 is a very old version of the product which has not been supported for many years already.
Taking into account all above, I would recommend you consider using the current version, ABBYY FineReader PDF 16, which you can download from pdf.abbyy.com to try, and then purchase a license either from the web site, or from your local ABBYY reseller.
