I am working on several ancient books that contain diacritical marks and Sanskrit (Devanagari) script used for Hindi, Marathi, and Sanskrit.
However, during the OCR process, the software does not recognize the Devanagari script correctly. Instead, the Sanskrit or Hindi text is converted into English characters, even though the original text is clearly in Devanagari.
Kindly advise on how to enable proper recognition of Sanskrit/Devanagari scripts and diacritical marks, or let me know if additional language packs or settings are required. Can be possible through Indic language installer.

Hi Ganesh!
Sanskrit (Devanagari) is currently not supported as a recognition language in FineReader PDF 16. We have already forwarded your suggestion to our Research & Development team as part of request #652597 that you submitted earlier.
Latin and Latin extended also not available in Finereader PDF 16.
