The ABBYY is the first OCR I have found that could handle English and Greek recognition in the same document. I did not think this would be that big of a deal but it turned out to be. I am a Mac user that dumped windows back in the early 90s. Will the Mac version of this give me the same OCR capabilities as the windows version? I could a Windows VM for this but I really want to use the native Mac if it has the functionality.

Both English and Greek are supported as recognition languages in FineReader PDF for Mac: https://support.abbyy.com/hc/en-us/articles/360020669679-Specifications-for-FineReader-PDF-for-Mac.
Please note that FineReader PDF for Windows and FineReader PDF for Mac are two different products, and there are differences in the available functionality.

That said, both products offer similar capabilities in terms of text recognition and document conversion.
