Good morning,
I am from Poland; we are close to Germany, the Czech Republic, Lithuania, and Sweden. In older scholarly texts, French was commonly used as a standard language.
That’s a lot of countries, and the handy list has only 18 slots—could an option be added to expand it?
In addition to alphabet characters, the program handles ’ ” „ poorly. With such a short list, I end up searching online for things like “a umlaut” just to avoid losing my “favorite” characters.
Yes, I could switch languages, but I already use five (Polish, English, German, Latin, and French), and then an umlauted u in italics is misrecognized, or there’s an author from the Czech Republic and I need a capital Ž (Z with a caron).
Also i used alt+0151 and alt+0151 insted of insert option.

Hi Marcin Maćkowiak - thanks for sharing this suggestion! I’ve moved it to our Feature Requests board so it’s in the right place for product review and visibility. I encourage you (and others!) to add any additional details or use cases to help the team better understand the need and impact.
For future reference, here's an article with guidelines and basic information about submitting a feature request. Thanks again!
