Sharepoint Version for IFilter Integration?

Will IFilter work with Sharepoint Foundation 2010? Where is the documentation on the Sharepoint version/database requirements?

I have tried to install on my Sharepoint 2010 Foundation Lab Server and the option for Sharepoint Search is greyed out when attempting to install IFilter.

Wadeal,

Check the help file. I think it actually says that it doesn't support iFilter for Sharepoint Foundation edition. It has it as a an export option for Recognition Server but at this time the iFilter portion doesnt seem to be supported with Foundation edition.
