Anyone with ideas on how to replace the image in the Verification Client.
firstly - i have dual stream scanned the document and now have a red color drop and black/white image,
I import and process the color drop to Recognition and it gets to Verification.
I however don't want the Verification Operator to look at the color drop copy instead I want them to look at the b/w copy. I know the location of the b/w copy as well as both the color drop and b/w copies have the same name.
I tried a pre verification script in the project workflow, the document gets unprocessed and kicked to exceptions as soon as I get Document.Pages[0].ReplaceImage( ... ) to work
i tried "on document open" event in stage tools and was told i can't modify the document

I don't think you can do that using the default thick station. I assume you are trying to do this because it tough to do verification on a field because the label isn't there correct? In that case there are couple option:
1) Create your own Verification Station. If you are using Distributed, technically there is a web service API to call for a verification task. In this case, you can get the task and replace the image with your own coding.
2) There is an "overlay" feature that should come out sooner or late with FlexiCapture 11. Basically it would overlay the template/docdef image during verification so the operator can see the OCR value and the blank form with label. Not sure when that is coming out. Might want to check with your product manager in your region. Was just something I tested a while back.
