Hi,
I was trying to capture data where it is spread across three lines.
The issue is, I want to capture lines 1 and 3 and exclude line 2.
I tried assigning line 2 as a separate character string and excluded it from the main field.
But only line 1 is captured. (I'm using labeled fields and not character string)
What is the proper procedure to capture fields like this.?
Please refer to attachment.
I want to exclude the line highlighted in yellow.
Thanks !

To exclude a region from recognition, in the Document Definition Editor please choose "Create Unrecognizable Region" button (see attached image), click and draw a region to exclude with your mouse.
I'm using flexilayout studio for this project.
How can I do this in flexilayout studio?
Thanks!
In this case Cut Region Part button will help you.
This command is only available if you have selected the Reference layout option.
Please notice when you cut out the internal part of the block areas, the program will also cut out the adjoining right-hand up to the border of the block. This is done because only continuous text blocks may be recognized by the OCR engine.
