  Hello Atorino,
  
  You have to create a dataset first in your document definition.
  Document definition properties -> Datasets.
  Once you have a dataset you can create a database lookup rule for your fields, using this dataset as reference.
  Now you can create a database lookup button and you should see the rule you created previously.

  Hello Willem:
  I have 2 Datasets defined and they are not available for selection when adding the button.
  Any ideas why?

  Hello Atorino,
  
  You also need a rule, that uses this dataset.
  
  1. Create a dataset
  2. Create a database check rule that uses this dataset as source type.
  3. Create button, now you can select the rule created in step 2.

  Hello Willem. I also have a db check rule. I'm attaching 4 images to show:
  1- DataSets Window
  2- Db rule window
  3- Dataset used in db rule
  4- Button with no db rules to select from.
  
  Am i missing something?.

  From the screenshots it looks OK, are you caching the data in your dataset?
  Maybe it is better to contact support, because it looks to me that you are configuring it in the right way.
