There are 4 document definitions and only the first page of multipage document has to be recognized with only one document definition.The remaining pages should be annexed.In test batch when loading the image its working fine but when put in hot folder batches are created per document, the single document is matched to 2 to 4 document definitions instead of being treated as one document.

Take a look at your import profile options. There you can stablish how documents are created:
- Automatically , when applying document definition
- One per each existing file in you import folder
- By using a separator sheet (blank one or with barcode).
Automatically , should work the same way as your project does when adding images to test batches.

Since you are facing an issue of incorrect document definition mathcing check your flexilayout project structure, maybe you need to improve yor header logic. If you are using only document definition try adding addional anchor elements to match pages more precisely.
Also check your document definition and specify number of possible document repetetions and anex pages.
After this you should be able to use automatic document creation option and get correct results.

The 4 different layouts include alternate layouts for multipage documents.There is no footer element, I was getting the incorrect page order when identifiers were used in header part, so I removed the header and made the only identifier elements, restricted the search range to page1.
I see the below problems:
1) While recognition the incorrect page order error is shown, but not always.
2) Not always first page is recognized, but requirement is only first page has to be recognized if not matched it should be shown as unkown.
3) The rotation is also not corrected while processing.The possible orientations are also mentioned in the settings.
The settings for the annex pages is also done.
The number of possible document repititions not sure so, 1 to 100 is mentioned in the document definition.
Apart from this what settings has to be made to recognize the documents correctly.
