Getting this error on scan jobs when a scan was done on a glossy page?
was very very unusual. Did a photocopy of the same document, then was able to scan it through abbyy with no issues.
It was happening with multiple workflows with the same document.

The error you described indeed appeared in old RS 4 versions, since RS 4.0 R4 it has been fixed.
So it makes sense to upgrade if this issue still disturbs you somehow.
