We get the potential requirements to use FlexiCapture and to design flexible templates used to the extraction of these data of the engineering drawing. We found there is the case study with “Engineering Designs for a Chinese Nuclear Power Giant” on ABBYY website.
Does anyone explain for us how to implement the flexible templates used for the engineering drawings?

Capturing data from documents with engineering drawings (pictures, text, tables) is the same as regular documents.
The whole process can be described as that:
1)We make regions for elements in FlexiLayout. You might have difficulties drawing regions for pictures but still: find some reliable statics and you're good to go.
2)We import AFL from FlexiLayout studio and set proper recognition and data settings in field properties. Mark them as show on verification, export field value, etc.
3)Exporting data in desired format. Export scripts with external libraries are possible (e.g. if you want to make a pdf-"book" or some other kind of non-default output document).
