FlexiCapture 11 Distributed

What's the best way to overcome differently sized margins for a given vendor's invoice format? I sometimes run into situations where 2 or even 3 definitions are needed, in order to compensate for additional space (sometimes several millimeters) from the page edges to where the data elements are located.

    Hello Mike,

Please explain what margins you are referring to and send pictures that show exactly what you have in mind (red rectangles framing the margins).

    Best regards,

I'm just referring to the white space down the left and right sides of the pages. Invoices will be identical in format other than these spaces which are probably due to re-scanning or copying the images. When using absolute search area constraints to locate a particular column of data, this can pose a problem. The attached invoice is one where I capture the "TOTAL" with an absolute search area, then all other elements are relational to that first column. I tried a number of methods for these invoices and this was the most reliable method I could come up with...other than when the column is effectively moved due to re-sizing. I've tried widening the search area with some success but this can pose additional problems sometimes by capturing unwanted information. Creating a second layout is the only thing that I've been able to do that seems fool proof.
