  If I'd looked for FileNet connector information, I'd rather prefer forums more related to IBM, not ABBYY

  Not particularly. I have 20+ years experience with FileNet, IBM, Kofax, Cardiff. In the past I would approach the vendor of a scan/capture suite to see if they have a) built the connector themselves b) have partners who have built the connector c) consultants who specialize in both the product and building custom connectors.

  What's important here is that my company is considering the ABBYY product as a replacement for an aging Cardiff solution. Basic google searches are drawing a blank, the integrator we are talking to is clueless so here I am, asking my question in the general section of the vendors forums.

  I am quickly approaching the conclusion that although Abby has a great OCR offering (I use it), this product is still a work in progress and only supports sharepoint as a repository.

  Please correct me if I'm wrong.

  Hello,

  ABBYY FlexiCapture for Invoices could be connected to FileNet (e.g. https://www.ufcinc.com/ABBYY/flexicapture-for-invoices-to-filenet-p8 ). 

  However, this customization should be arranged as professional service on the level of ABBYY regional support.
