Client applications have been suffering long wait times for basic functions, specifically in Project Setup Station and Verification stations
Examples of this include
- Creating simple batch types in project setup station take almost 20 minutes to complete
- 'Update to latest version' and 'recognize' in verification station takes almost 30 minutes to complete
- Opening projects through Verification Station or Project Setup Station take almost 10 minutes to complete
- Saving and testing Document Definitions in document editor takes almost 5 minutes
What could be causing these performance issues? What can I do to improve responsiveness in client applications?

I've been assured by our tech support staff that the indexes are rebuilt daily. Is it possible that there is an alternative diagnosis? How do I go about diagnosing this issue?

Could you please tell us what is your database and its' transaction logs size? Did you perform cleaning as described in previous topic, not only the indexes re-building? In addition, you may look at your event logs from Administration and Monitoring console for searching errors.
