Is it possible to have the Business Unit and Vendor groupings expanded by default when a user is viewing an invoice in the Project Station or Verification Station? By default you must click on the group heading to expand and see the individual fields for that grouping.

Yes. In the document definition's data form window (with all the draggable text boxes), right click on the box containing all fields belonging to your group and the Find button, and go to properties.
