I don't think that is possible. Maybe someone can correct me but the priority is set at the batch level. So once you set the Batch at a certain Priority, it maintains that priority until the end or until someone manually changes it.
priorities for task types are hardcoded, so it is not possible to change it from outside.
But there is a workaround that can be used in this case. It's possible to assign particular task types for particular processing stations via Processing Server Monitor.
I would recommend assigning verification support tasks with a separate Processing Station which will process only this task type.
