Hot folder import is not working

I'm trying to setup import from hot folders for our Flexycapture11. I've already checked advises in this article http://knowledgebase.abbyy.com/article/746.

- I have one pdf file in my Hot Folder (http://prntscr.com/9ehqxk)
- I have following Hot Folder Profile Properties: http://prntscr.com/9ehrfl
- I'm sure that settings are loaded to the server (I see "Project settings have been changed" in my log http://prntscr.com/9ehrtm)
- I see that every 60 seconds new task is created: http://prntscr.com/9ehrtm
- But I see only events "Create task", "Get task, "Close task" but there is no Recognition, Validation or Export events.
- There is no messages in the error log
- In all summaries and statuses I see 0 on each stage (http://prntscr.com/9ehud0)

Please give me an advise what can be wrong with my settings and where can I get more information?

In Admin Guide (https://www.abbyy.com/media/4399/flexicapture-11-admin-guide.pdf) "Hot Folders" topic is not reflected enough. Good to have more information and tutorials there.

Thanks!

The processing station does the import as this is windows service please check that the account running this service has read/write access to the import folder. Also in the import profile settings use a full UNC path like \\server\share and not c:\share

    Thanks, Willem,
Everyone have full access to that folder, also I've tried to use path like \\server.. Doesn't help.

I found more logs on the processing server:
No data to import from "" (http://prntscr.com/9eu8p3)
But there are files in the hot folder: http://prntscr.com/9eua20

    Hi Andrey,

Can you please post a screenshot of the folder settings "Sharing Tab"?
Can you also confirm that these files are not opened by some body else?

From the settings I can see no problem, although I still suspect that it is a permission issue.

    Willem, Thanks for your support!

By some reason in the event log were no messages about errors and warnings. After a few server reboots it appeared. That's why I did not see the message:
"*.pdf is in use by another application."

I'm trying to import files from the Google Drive directory. (every user can put files to that folder in Google Drive and Flexicapture can grab them). But seems Google Drive somehow locking all files and Flexicapture can not modify it. That is strange, I'll try to investigate into it. But that was the reason why files were not imported.

Maybe you have some tricks how to avoid it?

    Hello Andrey,

    You're welcome!

FlexiCapture scans the import directory for files ready for import, than moves them to the "Processing Tasks" folder to start the actual import. This way, we prevent that somebody else can intterupt our import process. If during a scan a file is marked as locked, or in use, FlexiCapture will ignore it and will try it again during the next import. As this is normal behaviour, a program could still be writing to this file, FlexiCapture will not give an error message.
I'm not sure if there is anything we can do from FlexiCapture side, and I'm not familair enough with Google Drive to know if there is away to prevent this locking of files.
