In Abbyy Finereader 10 the scanning interface stayed always open after each scan, while in Finereader 12 the scanning interface closes after each scan making scanning of every next page much longer (as it takes some time to open the scanning interface again). So how can I set up Finereader 12 to stop closing the scanning interface after each scan (like it used to be in Finereader 10).
How to keep the scanning interface always open in Finereader 12 (like in v. 10)?

I also share the same question. For me it's easy to relaunch the scanning GUI. My major disappointment is that when I do FineReader 12 Scanning "Image Processing" Options are not retained between scans forcing me to waste a bunch of time rechecking the same desired selection boxes over and over again. Anyone's helpful expertise on this is appreciated.
As it turns out. If a person launches only ABBYY "Scan to PDF" the aforementioned limitations exist. If a person performs the scans from the primary ABBYY FineReader 12 GUI the aforementioned is not a problem. I'll use the full GUI for now. Bummer though that it looks like the new limitation has existed for a year now with no acknowledgement or improvement of the behavior by the ABBYY developers. At least their OCR is the best. Cheers.
