Showing Value from 1 Document Section in another Document Section During Verification

Hi,

Is it possible to show the "Picture" Field from 1 Document Section in another Document Section?

What I am trying to do is to consolidate all the customer's signatures from different Document Sections in 1 place. I tried the following but it didn't work for Picture: Document.Field("DocSection1\\Field1").Value = Document.Field("DocSection2\\Field2").Value;

Thanks.

    Hello,

The transferring of fields between sections is not supported, but if you can create one section which include all your pictures, you may copy and replace them inside it.

    Hi Ekaterina,

Can you elaborate what you meant by creating one section which includes all the pictures?

My customer's signatures are spread out across different documents and currently I have different templates to handle different documents. Hence, it results in different document sections.

    Thanks.

    Hello,

As we can see, your situation really does not allow collecting all document's signatures in one section. However, if you describe us your requirements in more details (e.g. what is the purpose of putting all signatures in one place, do you need them on Verification or on Export only...) then probably we will be able to suggest another scenario for you.

    Thanks Ekaterina for your response.

Basically, I have about 10 document sections. Each document section has few fields to be captured and verified.

The signatures are in different document sections, and users are finding it not "user-friendly" to scroll up and down on the verification screen when they are doing eyeball check on those signatures to see if they are matched.

They said it would be better if all the signatures were presented next to each other.

Can you suggest a better alternative?

    Hello,

We may offer you two scenarios:

    1.

    A. On the FlexiLayout level, create the “Checkmark” block that contains your signature, not the “Picture”.

    B. On the FlexiCapture level, set the options “do not recognize” on the recognition tab in the field properties and “send to the group verification” on the verification tab.

    C. On the verification station press “F7” button.

You may see the set of pictures without scrolling. For more details, you may read the article: Operating a configured project > Verification of recognized data > Group verification

Note: If you have other checkmarks in you project all of them will be mixed on the group verification stage.

    2.

    A. On the FlexiLayout level, grab the field with signature by “Picture” block and put the rest of the layout's fields in the group of text blocks (the same principle can be applied if your have the fixed form).

    B. In the Document Definition Editor level, please select the all fields' group container and in the “Format” tab in the group properties select an option "collapse" - “always”. In general, the data form view could be modified by drag and drop method as shown on the attached screenshot, and you may arrange the relative positions of group and picture elements.

Note: In this case the operator will have to expand the group to see the fields.
