Thick scanning client occasionally produces this error, and I haven't been able to determine the source or a solution. I've attached screenshots of the error and the server settings
Has anybody else received or resolved this error? Any ideas on how to resolve it?

Do you use multiple Scanning Stations?
If the issue will appear again, please check FC12 License Manager > Service > License Use Statistic and see there, if all available Scanning Stations licenses are busy.
In this case you should find an opened Scanning Station that is not used at this moment, close it and wait a little until the license frees. If that does not resolve the situation, please address to your regional support, with full description of your complex structure and, preferably, the Windows Event/Application logs collected on the License Server/Scanning Station machines

I had this problem today, and am running only one Scan Station - I restarted the application server and the error message is gone.
