Hi,

During installation,I have set "D:\Storage Path" as my external file storage path. Now I want to change it to "E:\Storage Path". How can I do that?

    Hello,

Please try to use this instruction:

    1) Close all Stations.

    2) Stop the Processing Server.

    3) Close all opened sessions via the Administration and Monitoring Console.

    4) Export all projects from the server in order to have  backup copies.

    5) Create a FC Database backup by MS SQL Server means.

    6) Create a copy of FileStorage (if it is a folder on a disk) and save it in an appropriate place.

    7) Install ABBYY FC on new maсhines.

    8) Restore the Database from the backup.

    9) Specify path to the File Storage and Data Base in the FC Administration and Monitoring Console.

    10) Continue working with the original FC database and the File Storage.

    Hello,

Yes, the reinstallation of FC program is not required, but all operations with database are required.

If I change the path from given path : Administration and Monitoring Console > Service > Application Server > Connect to existing database > Use external file storage > Path , does it solve my purpose of changing the external file storage path from one drive to another drive without interrupting the current installation? If anything else is required please advice. In which database table does this path stored?

    Hello,

We recommended to use the previous instruction.

The external file storage path is stored in the web.config file on the server.
