Just to clear.. Can I use .fcproj /.fcdot file without installing project setup station or Administrator station. I can run the fcproj file using command or scripting, Right?

Could you please clarify your scenario?
The .fcdot file stores the information about the Document Definition, and the .fcproj file contains ths information about the entire FlexiCapture project, but they still need some ABBYY environment to be used within.

We have a requirement to implement ABBYY projects using OCTOPUS tool. Therefore, would like to run ABBYY .fcproj/.fcdot using some kind of scripts or using command line outside of Project Setup Station. Therefore, want to understand if it is possible to deploy .fcproj/.fcdot package using command line or any script, if yes what are the steps?

In the frame of usage of ABBYY FlexiCapture you may use command line to set up what station type, project and batch will be opened, but they will be still opened in a station.
The .fcproj and .fcdot files can be used without FlexiCapture Project Setup or Administrator stations if you use these files in FlexiCapture Engine.
You may also operate the FlexiCapture project that is uploaded to the Application Server with the help of FlexiCapture Web API (http://help.abbyy.com/en-us/flexicapture/12/developer/using) without opening Project Setup station.

hello all,
i got problem related to same issues. I extracted data from pdf using .fcdot file but it is not providing the exact data.
on the other hand if i use .fcproj file with custom setting it does provide the exact data.
Is there any way to reflect that custome setting in .fcdot file?
