IMAGES IMPORT FROM HOT FOLDER

Dear All,

I am using ABBYY FLEXICAPTURE 11 DISTRIBUTED EDITION AND that is run almost 8 months. i am using HOT FOLDER for images import suddenly its going too slow to images import. give me a solution how could it be faster to import images. its an urgent.

    Hi,

    Have you used more processing stations and now only one is active? Take a look at ABBYY logs, and server logs also, maybe you will find something there.

    Also take a look at tasks on processing server, if tasks are executing slower, also import will execute slower.

    In case that task for import started while ago, but images are slowly imported, would be better to contact regional support.

    I am Eashan from Bangladesh
    please clear the temp log file from drive C and clear the log from monitoring consol also clear the active processing station

    Hello,

    I may recommend the following methods in order to improve the system's performance: 

    • Perform manual cleanup for the Event Log, Processed batches, Report data in the Monitoring Console.
    • Clean up IIS logs to avoid Web Server slowdown. 
    • Perform DB Shrink + Rebuild Indexes for the tables (Session, SessionTask, and Task).
    • Restart the complex. 
    • Check the size of the file storage and the C drive. Does it have sufficient space?
