database not returning value after exact match

Hi, can anybody give me solution on this.I have a table of Employee Name AND Emp ID. Dataset has been created and looking up value from database to give exact match. From Data form Emp name has been captured correctly, for Eg. Brown , Jones but not returning value of that name ie 1055 which is EMP ID. In database Emp name: Brown , Jones is present with proper Emp ID , and also mapped properly but still not returning value. But if we click on the button to choose from a database, then it will show the name and after selecting that name will return value. My question is that why it is not returning value automatically, when value is present in database.

Will be thankful if anybody help on this,

    Hello,

    To select the record from a DataSet you need to enter at least 3 symbols in the lookup window. This is done to minimize the amount if requests to the server.

    If the issue persists, try to update datasets. To better assist with your request please send us the following information:

    1. An exact version of your FC: Project Setup Station > Help > About. Is this Distributed or Standalone version?

     

    2. Your FlexiCapture  project (Project Setup Station > Open Project from Server > Project > Export project). Please select the checkmark "Export DataSets"

    3. I case of Distributed version, please let us know if the issue depends on the machine.

    Hi, i am using standalone version FC11 for invoices. Can this be happened for duplicate records in data set?  Your Test project says, it is an invalid version. Value should be returned automatically and not by looking up in database after exact match.

    Could it be, that you are looking for the checkmark "Enter value from database" ?

    If this is not the case, to better assist with your request, please:

    1. Let me know exact version of your FC: Project Setup Station > Help > About.

    2. Export your FlexiCapture  project (Project Setup Station > Open Project from Server > Project > Export project). Please select the checkmark "Export DataSets"

    Version in same FC11 for invoices. Project cant be send due to some reasons. I have the same setting as you shown in the screenshot above. Suppose i am entering Emp name as, Kevin peterson it will give me ID 4567. For most the records it is working properly only for some records its not working even the name in exactly match in DB. Can it be due to duplicate record? Like the name, Andrea Melisa with ID 9234 is repeated two times in dataset. When Andrea Melisa is captured from the invoice form, it should return ID as 9234 , but not doing so. But i have observed same name repeated after some records in db with same name and ID.

    Your link gives an error, Project has been created using new version of abbyy.

    Dataset is quite big. Can you try with duplicate records and tell me?
