   I am not using classification in Invoice Module but here is information about Flexicapture 12 in general :

  As the name suggest this feature enables you to classify documents into different classes.

  One use case is : It can be used in complex projects where you have multiple type of documents and you want to first classify the document and then apply respective layout.
