Hello, Lucky
We consider vertical and horizontal text recognition in the topic: http://www.capturedocs.com/thread/detecting-corretly-vertical-characters-in-a-horizontal-invoice/
Please take a look on it.
Hi Ekaterina,
Thanks for your reply. From the topic you refereed to I understand that the location of the vertical text is known that is fixed.
But when the text location is not known and instead of a region element, character string element is created in the FLS and in FC Orientation properties of the field are changed to "Vertical" its not identified correctly.
Please suggest if there is any possiblity to rotate the pdf 4 times and save all the verified recognized text on the pdf.
Thanks!
Lucky
Hello, Lucky
As we understand, on the level of FLS project you want to find regions with vertical text without any reliable relations to other documents' elements, based only on text orientation. It cannot be done by using standard tools, some advanced techniques allow to do it, but detailed instructions about these techniques are out of scope of this resource.
You may contact your regional Professional Services for further assistance.
