has anyone gotten these Xamarin samples from their FTP to run from ABBYY? They seem incomplete and non working to me!
looks like these are cloud sdk examples... yet we are in the OCR SDK forum...
They still don't work even after I put in my ApplicationID and ApplicationPassword of my trial cloud sdk test app
They appear to be iOS 5 apps... so I will have to install that SDK and to get it to run correctly... or re-write a number of things...
Provided sample is for Cloud OCR SDK, not FineReader Engine or Mobile OCR SDK. As this is a sample for Cloud OCR SDK you do not need to install any of our SDK.
Can you please specify what exactly do not work at your side? What error messages do you receive? Whether the project compiles or not?
still doesn't work, its says it makes a call to the cloud and says a pdf is put on the virtual sd card... but none of that is true... I watch it with a Charles (web debugging proxy) I see BS response, and there is no PDF on the virtual SD card, I had to compile and build for an old Android emulator for this sample to run... you really should update these samples

Provided sample is for Cloud OCR SDK. Unfortunately there is no sample project for Mobile OCR Engine. For instructions how to work with Mobile OCR Engine libraries in Xamarin please refer to Xamarin guides.
