I am trying to scan the trailer numbers with vertical text but the current SDK is not letting me scan the images.
I am attaching some images. Please check it and let me know how can I scan these images.

As we have already answered you by email, ABBYY Cloud OCR SDK can recognize this vertical text. You can try to use the processImage method with the textExtraction profile and the matrix text type.

I tried to use the processImage method with your specified params but it is not working.

The input image quality is insufficient for OCR in Cloud SDK. We recommend 300-dpi scanned images or 8+ Mpx photographed image (high contrasting, no shaking). Cloud OCR SDK primary purpose it extraction of text pieces from paper.
You might consider using RTR SDK for letters typed on real-world objects instead of Cloud OCR SDK.

We have used that SDK as well but that does not support vertical text reading.
Our usecase is we want to scan the number written on the sides of trailers, what other options do we have?
This particular recognition scenario requires a lot of OCR processor configuration. Cloud OCR SDK is designed for plain recognition and it's not the best option for your scenario.
RTR SDK is a better fit for mobile photos and FineReader Engine is far more configurable, but for your processing scenario, I would rather recommend more detailed consultation with ABBYY sales manager.
