I created an account and tried to use the sample code to read an image. I'm getting a 401 error. When I log into my account only one tab (account) is active in the console. The rest all contain the initial message that says I need to click the verification link, which I have already done (more than once). Is my account setup correctly? Am I missing something?

According to our database, your account is fine, but you have not created any Application ID. After registration of your account you have received login and password for Cloud OCR SDK site and will be able to create Application ID and Application Password for each of your applications. This ID (or the name of your application) and Password are required by server for each request. When any Cloud OCR SDK user creates the first application, this user automatically gets Free Test Set available for this application. This test set consists of 50 pages and valid for 90 days from the registration date.
Then to try the service in work please follow the steps described in C# Quick Start Guide.
