letterSet does not restrict recognized characters

Hi all,

I wanted to ask a question about letterSet option. I'm trying out recognition of handprinted textfields and came across this.

I'm exactly using an option letterSet=ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ, but on output I still get characters recognized as 2, }, ~, - etc. I wanted to use letterSet option together with textType=handprinted, markingType=simpleText and writingStyle calling the method processTextField.

Shouldn't letterSet strictly limit the recognized characters only to what was set in that argument?
