I am interested where the servers for the Cloud OCR service are located? And is there the possibility to have them only within Germany, due to data privacy issues?

Currently ABBYY Cloud OCR SDK is running on Microsoft Windows Azure in the data centers within Western Europe, namely in the Netherlands. All processing is performed at our servers in this country. In future we plan to expand the list of possible countries where the data will be processed. Please review also the Security Overview article for some more details about supported methods of data protection.
