FineReader in Linux with PDF files

Hi:

I am trying to use ABBYY FineReader in my ubuntu machine, I have created a java program to do it, but it is not working with PDF Files.

I have tested the Sample Hello for java and C++ and i have always the same problem when i try to make OCR for a PDF file.

/Samples/Hello# ./Hello

Initializing Engine...

Loading image...

Internal program error:

../Src/DllTools.cpp, 99.

For another format it works correctly.

Could you help me?

    Hi,

    If your issue still unresolved please send the following information to support@abbyy.com:

    • The serial number of your ABBYY FineReader Engine 11 license
    • The build number
    • Sample PDF files on which you get this error
    • Modified project if you have modified sample
    • Engine Log files (to enable logging in your application, please call the StartLogging(logFileName, TRUE) method of the Engine object just immediately after FineReader Engine is loaded (before any parameters are set)
