Hello,
We need to combine two PDF files, saved to a network folder, into one and then load the merged document to anther location. This files need to be linked based on the text in one PDF being match to the saved document name of the other PDF. If a match cannot be made then no merging should take place. Can this process be automated with Abbyy Fine Reader and if so how?

There really isn't anything that would be out of the box to do what you want. This can be accomplish with FineReader but would involve some extraction and lots of customization.
