How do I stop Finereader from splitting a picture in the book I am OCRing. They are the same size as other pictures that don't get split so I cannot see why these certain ones were split.

Hi!
It may sometime happen when the picture somehow resembles two facing pages to FineReader.
If you're using FineReader PDF 15 on Windows, go to Options, Image Preprocessing tab, and make sure "Split facing pages" option is off:
If you're using FineReader PDF for Mac, the same option is in Preferences dialogue (you can access it via the main menu or using a cogwheel button) - make sure it's off:
For the pages that you need to split, use manual Split Page tool in the Image Editor, which tool is now available both in FineReader PDF 15 (Win) and FineReader PDF for Mac.
