Hi,
i have a pdf file that i want to convert into epub. i tried the option "use only text from pdf" thats works very good but there is no layout analysis. pictures works very good but italic text is taken oven as normal text.

Hi Friedrick,
Layout analysis is done anyways, but when converting to EPUB, only "Formatted text" and "Plan text" layout options are available. "Formatted text" doesn't preserve the full page layout. You can read more here: https://help.abbyy.com/en-us/finereader/15/user_guide/epub_settings/
To improve preserving italic text, try to use other than "use only text from pdf" PDF conversion mode.
