Symptoms

This issue happened after upgrading FlexiCapture to the 12.0.4.812 version. Received the following error when trying to use the Microsoft Graph Mail API:

E:\TfsBuildAgent\_work\1\s\Build\FlexiCapture\Controller\Enterprise\EnterpriseServerStdObjects.cpp, 463.

Cause

This is a known issue for FlexiCapture 12.0.4.812.

Resolution

The recommended solution is to update the FlexiCapture installation to the newest version. You can download the latest version of FlexiCapture 12 here.

As a workaround, the issue can be fixed with a patch (the patch should be applied on all computers with Processing Station installed):

  1. Make a backup copy of Controller.dll on all Processing Stations (by default C:\Program Files\ABBYY FlexiCapture 12 Stations).
  2. Stop ABBYY FlexiCapture 12 Processing Station Windows Service (in the Services desktop app).
  3. Copy all files from FlexiCapture 12.0.4.817.zip to the installation folder of the Processing Station (by default C:\Program Files\ABBYY FlexiCapture 12 Stations).
  4. Start ABBYY FlexiCapture 12 Processing Station Windows Service.
  5. Start Processing Station in Processing Server Monitor. 

If something goes wrong, revert changes back using the original Controller.dll using the same steps.

    Please fix the download link to the .zip file in SharePoint as it doesn't work (anymore). I can upgrade my AFC dev, but other people will have to raise a support ticket for customers that don't want to go the full upgrade route.
