Why is OAuth 2.0 Authentication option for IMAP greyed out?

Answer

Possible reasons are the following:

  • Modern authentication (OAuth 2.0) for IMAP supports only Microsoft products. It will not work, for example, with the Google IMAP server.
  • Microsoft Exchange server should support and have modern authentication enabled.

Starting from FlexiCapture 12 Release 4 Update 3 Patch 7 (12.0.4.1057), Google IMAP authentication
using OAuth 2.0 is supported
