How to capture fields with a specific marking type from the fixed form document with the FlexiLayout?

Answer

If there's a need to capture the data from fixed-form documents using the FlexiLayout and there are fields with a marking type different than Simple the Region element should be used in FlexiLayout Studio to capture such regions. Please note that the regions should fully capture the markings as well.  

When the designed layout is imported into the document definition, the corresponding marking type should be selected in the field's properties on the Recognition tab as shown below:
