Symptoms

1. All documents that are processed are sent to Exceptions as Unrecognized.
   
   
2. FlexiCapture 12 event logs contain one or both of the following errors:

• • An error occurred during file postprocessing for the native file hotfolder: code=53, exception=%filepath%\Processed\%batch_name%\ contains an invalid path.
    
    
  • An error occurred during file postprocessing for the native file hotfolder: code=53, exception=%filepath%\Exceptions\%batch_name%\. contains an invalid path.

Cause

The hot folder path in the error either doesn't exist or is not accessible by the users running Processing Stations.

Resolution

Make sure the Move imported files to and Move files with errors to folders listed in the Image Import Profile on the CleanUp tab exist and the users running the Processing Stations have full access rights (Read and Write permissions) to them.

To find out the users who must have access: open Windows Services on each Processing Station and check the Log On As column for the ABBYY FlexiCapture 12 Processing Station service.
