How to use a license file for offline activation of FineReader PDF?

Answer

To activate FineReader PDF with a license file, please apply the recommendations below:

1. Launch FineReader PDF.
2. Start the activation process by entering the serial number.
   If the activation window does not pop up, please follow the steps from the article: How to activate FineReader PDF if the activation window does not pop up.
3. Choose the activation method Load license file and click Next.
   
4. Find the destination of the downloaded license file by clicking Browse or copying the path of the file. Click Next.
   
5. Complete the activation.

The license file may be generated either on the ABBYY Website or by submitting a request to the Customer Support Team and providing the serial number and the Product ID of the offline PC.

Note: A license file intended for activation on the specific computer for which the file was created. It cannot be used to activate on other machines.
