Symptoms

The FlexiCapture 12 license activation fails with the following error being shown:

Activation Failed. You serial number cannot be activated automatically. It has already been activated and cannot be activated once again.

Cause

The license is being activated on more instances than it was originally issued for. This means that either the license was not properly deactivated before migrating to a new system, or the license is being used on multiple instances simultaneously. In either case, the activations counter has exceeded the limit.

Resolution

To resolve the issue, please proceed with submitting a request to our support team. This will enable the dedicated support team to assist further in updating the license. The support team will ensure that the request is forwarded to the appropriate department responsible for handling license updates.
