Error on Scanning Station: Failed to update batch types. There is no BatchTypes.xml file on the server.

Symptoms

On opening the Scanning Station, the following error appears :

Failed to update batch types. There is no BatchTypes.xml file on the server.

Cause

The Scanning Station of ABBYY FlexiCapture uses either global or local settings of batch types. The Administrator determines which settings are used when exporting batch types to the server by using the Distribute these batch types to all Scanning Stations option in Tools > Batch Types > Export.

Resolution

For the batch types to be available across all the Scanning Stations within the complex, they should first be exported to the application server in Tools > Batch Types:
