How to set batch processing deadline (SLA) in FlexiCapture 12?

Question

How can the Expires on values be configured for batches in FlexiCapture 12?

Answer

The Expires on date serves as the deadline for the batch and can be configured either through scripting or by utilizing the graphical interface (GUI). This setting can be defined within the specific batch type or at the project level, depending on the specific scenario that needs to be addressed.

To set the SLA setting for the batch using graphical interface, please perform the following steps:

  1. Open the project in the Project Setup Station
  2. Configure the deadline based on the influence scope:
    • If the settings need to be applied on the project level:
      Click Project > Project Properties… > Workflow
    • If the settings need to be applied on the batch type level:
Click Project > Batch Type > select the necessary Batch Type > Edit… > Workflow
  3. Check Enable processing time limit for batches
  4. Set up the necessary time limit for the batch by clicking the Set Time Limit… button

For more complicated settings such as time constraints that take the working hours of employees into account, it is possible to set the limit via the script. This can be done by following the steps below:

  1. Click on the Set Time Limit… button located on the Workflow tab
  2. Check the Set processing time limit with script option
  3. Click Edit…
