The FineReader Server Indexing Station and Verification Station can be used to edit PDFs: delete or redact text, edit text, edit images, reorder pages in documents, and to split documents.
In this video, we will show you how the Indexing Station can be used as an all-in-one interface for the operator to work within documents.
Use "Edit" to modify the document in the most common ways. Work with the text traditionally locked in PDFs by using the "Show OCR results" functionality. Click on the area where modifcations are needed, then simply type the correction!
Analyze the set and order of pages in the document. Pages that belong to other documents can seperated and moved all within FineReader Server Indexing Station. Select the pages in which this may apply to create new documents. The newly created document is automatically sent to the indexing queue.
Reorder pages with a simple drag-and-drop functionality. After the pages are checked, the document is ready for indexing! Highlight important fields in the document to identify date and contract number. Open the image editor by clicking "Edit" and from the drop-down "Edit Pages Images". The image editor provides an extended set of tools for improving images such as photo correction, rotate or straighten text lines, crop, brightness, etc.
Redact sensitive information using the OCR editor, watch this video to learn how!
