Cause

An expired authentication credential inside the OAuthProviders.dll component. This can cause mailbox and import connections to fail with the error ERR_OAUTH_SECRET_EXPIRED.

This issue affects Microsoft OAuth 2.0–based connections (IMAP, Microsoft Graph, and SharePoint import sources) in FlexiCapture 12

Resolution

Replace OAuthProviders.dll 

Review both sections below and apply the update to every applicable component, on every machine in your
environment, as soon as possible to restore normal mail and document import functionality.

Part A – Desktop Stations and Application Servers

1. Download the latest OAuthProviders.dll file from the release package. 
2. Close all FlexiCapture applications on the machine, then navigate to each of the following directories and replace the existing file with the new one. Note that not every path below will exist on every machine — only the components actually installed on that machine need to be updated, so skip any path that is not present and continue to the next: C:\Program Files\ABBYY FlexiCapture 12 Data Verification Station\OAuthProviders.dll C:\Program Files\ABBYY FlexiCapture 12 Servers\OAuthProviders.dll C:\Program Files\ABBYY FlexiCapture 12 Stations\OAuthProviders.dll C:\Program Files\ABBYY FlexiCapture 12 Verification Station\OAuthProviders.dll 
3. FlexiCapture is often deployed across multiple machines (for example, separate application servers, processing stations, and verification stations). Repeat Step 2 on every machine in your environment that has any FlexiCapture 12 component installed, and ensure the replacement is complete on all of them before restarting the applications. 

Part B – On-Premises IIS-Hosted Token Management Service 

If your FlexiCapture 12 deployment is on-premises and includes the Token Management web service hosted under IIS, that component must also be updated — it uses its own copy of OAuthProviders.dll, separate from the desktop/server copies in Part A. 

1. On the IIS server, stop the FlexiCapture Token Management site (or stop IIS entirely if it is the only site affected). 
2. Replace the file at the following location: C:\inetpub\wwwroot\FlexiCapture12TokenManagement\OAuthProviders.dll 
3. Restart IIS to apply the change, for example by running the following command as Administrator: iisreset
