How to capture non-table data in table format?
There are a variety of scenarios when the documents contain text that has a "table-like" format, but the Table element could not capture it correctly in FlexiLayout Studio.
The most common reasons for such behavior are the following:
- the text is not strictly formatted and could have a different position on different rows
- some rows could be empty
- there are no strong "table header" and "table footer"
- there are no separators between the columns and rows

In such scenarios, the data could be captured with the Repeating Group element.
Create Static Text elements to use the keywords below and above the necessary text as reference elements to specify the search area for Repeating group and its instances:
To show the Repeating Group as a table in FlexiCapture use the Show as table option:
Document Definition Editor > select the Repeating Group > choose the Show as table in the Form tab:
