EML processing naming rules

Question

Why is it when EML files go through FineReader Server the results are with a different file name than specified in the output settings?

Answer

It's the default behavior for *.eml and *.msg conversion and cannot be modified.
It will name the output file as follows:

  1. The parent letter by the name of its subject
  2. Attached letter by the name of the attachment subject
  3. The attached file will be named by its own name.
