Symptoms

"[PATH] contains an invalid path." error message while upgrading the project to a newer version.

Cause

The issue is currently under investigation. The most plausible reason is a mismatch in Codepages available on the source system. 

Resolution

For now, a workaround to such an issue is to delete special characters from the mentioned path.
