How to disable background recognition in FineReader PDF?

Answer

1. Open FineReader PDF.
2. Go to the Image Processing tab:
   For FineReader PDF 16: File > Options... > Image Processing.
   For FineReader PDF 15: Tools > Options... > Image Processing.
   
3. Disable the Enable background recognition in the PDF Editor option:
   
4.  Click OK.

Now if a PDF document is opened in PDF Editor background recognition won't be applied automatically.
